Wondering what those icons are at the top of the Poseidon-viewer? New sample Jupyter notebooks are now available at the Poseidon-share repo that explain them. The buttons allow you to select points (like oceanographic stations), polylines (like sections), or polygons (cutouts). The data can then be imported into Jupyter notebooks and used to make calculations and figures.
The new Poseidon-share notebooks explain how to:
- Use these notebooks with ECCO data:
Poseidon-viewer_plot_cutout.ipynb,Poseidon-viewer_plot_section.ipynb, Poseidon-viewer_plot_stations.ipynb. They demonstrate both the Poseidon-viewer copy and paste function and the save (store) function. These notebooks show the interface to OceanSpy and seaduck. - Use these notebooks with LLC4320 data:
Poseidon_viewer_save_LLC4320_demonstration.ipynbandPoseidon_viewer_copy_paste_LLC4320_demonstration.ipynb. They demonstrate station, section, and cutout functions for the save and copy/paste Poseidon-viewer data export protocols. These notebooks show the interface to xarray.
