The Poseidon Viewer is a tool to rapidly and interactively visualize the global LLC4320 ocean circulation model simulation. Login to SciServer using the Oceanography container image and launch the Poseidon Viewer. See also this post.
Select:
- Temperature, salinity, sea surface height, vertical speed, boundary layer thickness, and vertical vorticity fields
- Depth level
- Time of interest
- Region of interest with zoom in/out
- Inspect spot value of the field by clicking on the map
- Use selection tools to define points, line segments, and connected regions; and export the data for use in Jupyter notebooks
